RYUSUKE TAGUCHI vs. HIROSHI TANAHASHI:
Taguchi with an Ankle Lock, but Tana quickly kicks him away, Tana with an Ankle Lock of his own outside the ring against the post then goes to work on the knee and ankle, Tana plays mind-games by using the Butt-Butts that Taguchi uses, Ryusuke comes back with a pair of his own, then a trifecta of B-Triggers, followed by a pair of Springboard Dropkicks then takes Tana down with a Plancha, he sends Tana back in & applies the Ankle Lock while his foot is on the apron, Tana sees an opening and hits a pair of Elevated Dragon Screws, Taguchi blocks the Cloverleaf and scurries to the rope, Tana with a Body Slam, up to the 2nd, Taguchi takes him down and back to the Ankle Lock, but Tana fights out, Sling Blade avoided, Tana blocks The Dodon, Twist & Shout, he holds on, but Taguchi with a Suplex, Tana holds on hits another Twist & Shout as they hit duelling moves with Taguchi getting the better of it and now he looks for the kill, Boma Ye connects, but only gets a near fall, Dodon blocked, instead Taguchi with a Bridging Tiger Suplex for a near fall, Dodon, Tana blocks, Taguchi instead stacks him up in a flash pin for a near fall, Ankle Lock, Tana kicks off, but Taguchi holds on & takes him back to the centre, Elbow Drop to the knee, Tana with a Small Package for a near fall, Victory Roll for a near fall, Taguchi with a Leaping Enzugiri, he looks for a Lariat, but Tana with a Slingblade, Taguchi blocks a Dodon, Tana with another Slingblade for a near fall, Bridging Dragon Suplex finishes Taguchi for the win. Tanahashi is going to the quarters.

ZACK SABRE Jr. W/TAKA MICHINKOU vs. KOTA IBUSHI:
Ibushi counters the Bow & Arrow, ZSJ ducks a Roundhouse Kick, Ibushi with a Heel Kick, but ZSJ catches it into a Heel Hook, but Kota goes to the rope, Heel Hook to a Figure 4 hold with a Head Scissors bridging all the way back, Kota makes it to the rope, ZSJ goes to work on the neck as Ibushi stays near the rope, Ibushi with a flurry of strikes, Standing Moonsault, but ZSJ gets his knees up, Heel Hook into a Knee Bar as Kota goes to the rope, Ibushi with a Pele Kick, he looks for a German Suplex, but ZSJ counters and puts full pressure on the knee with an Indian Deathlock and adds a Cravat, releases the Cravat then slaps Ibushi in the face, Kota goes right after him, but the ref warns him, ZSJ with a Dropkick to the knee, Kota evades the Penalty Kick and hits a 2nd rope Moonsault for a 2 count, ZSJ looks for a kick, but Kota counters with a Double Stomp, they both try for the Dragon Suplex and both block, Ibushi with a Bridging Half & Half for a 2 count, ZSJ blocks the Mid Kick into an Ankle Lock German Suplex then a Front Guillotine Choke, he releases and looks for the Zack Driver, but Ibushi blocks & hits a Lariat, Golden Star Powerbomb blocked, Manji-Gatame, countered, Ibushi looks for Brain Damage, but Zack counters into the European Clutch for a near fall, Kota catches a PK & hits a Shotei, Kamigoye countered into a Juji-Gatame then a Triangle Choke, Kota blocks & hits a Sit-Out Powerbomb for a near fall, he takes the knee pad down for full damage, ZSJ blocks, Kota counters a European Uppercut into a Straightjacket German Suplex for a near fall, Kamigoye countered into Orienteering With Napalm Death and neutralizes Ibushi’s wrists, Kota has no choice and taps out. ZSJ will face Tanahashi in the quarters.
