RYUSUKE TAGUCHI vs. HIROYOSHI TENZAN:
Taguchi is a replacement for David Finlay who was legit injured during the Honor Rising Japan Night 2 ROH Tag Title Match against The Briscoes.
Tenzan just walks away when Taguchi tries the Butt-Butt then hits a Falling Headbutt to the ass then a Mongolian Chop to the ass, Taguchi connects with the Butt-Butt then clutches his ass after the damage Tenzan did earlier then hits another pair of Butt-Butts, Springboard Dropkick for a 2 count, Ankle Lock, Tenzan goes to the rope, pair of Vertical Suplexes, but Tenzan blocks the trifecta and hits one of his own for a 2 count, Taguchi, but Tenzan catches him with a Mountain Bomb for a 2 count, Anaconda Vise, but Taguchi makes it to the rope, Taguchi with a Small Package for a 2 count, Tenzan with The Anaconda Buster for a 2 count then right back to The Anaconda Vise, Taguchi turns it into a flash pin for a 2 count then hits an Enzugiri, Boma Ye for a 2 count then to the Ankle Lock, Taguchi brings him back to the centre and drops an Elbow on the ankle then locks the hold back on, Tenzan rolls through and kicks Taguchi off, Taguchi with a Running Dropkick, he looks for another Boma Ye, but Tenzan counters mid-charge with a Spinning Wheel Kick for a 2 count, up top & hits the Diving Headbutt for a near fall, he was looking for the TTD, but Taguchi turns it into a flash pin for the win. Taguchi advances to Round 2.

SHOTA UMINO vs. HIROSHI TANAHASHI:
Tanahashi with a Leaping Elbow for a 2 count, he traps Shota’s legs, but Shota makes it to the rope, Tana blocks several Body Slam attempts, Shota keeps at it & eventually hits it, then into the Boston Crab, but Tana powers out & catches Shota with a Dragon Screw then locks in a Boston Crab of his own, Shota crawls, but Tana takes him back to the centre and sets down deep, Red Shoes asks his son if he wants to quit, but Shota comes alive & makes it to the rope, Tana with a Body Slam, up to the 2nd and hits a Somersault Senton for a 2 count, Shota with a Shotei then a Vertical Suplex, up top with a Missile Dropkick for a near fall, he goes to the Boston Crab & Tana immediately goes to the rope before Shota could set down, he takes Tana’s Cloverleaf & locks it on Tana, but Tana makes it to the rope, Shota with a never-ending barrage of Forearms, he goes for a Fisherman Suplex, but Tana counters into Twist & Shout, he looked for a Cloverleaf, but Shota counters into a Small Package for a near fall, Tana with an Inverted Dragon Screw then turns Shota into the Cloverleaf, Shota fights but has to tap out. Tanahashi will face Taguchi in Round 2.

ZACK SABRE JR. W/TAKA MICHINOKU vs. EVIL:
EVIL goes for a Senton, but ZSJ gets the knees up and goes after the right arm, but EVIL goes to the rope, now ZSJ has a target, locks the legs then rips at the fingers and pushes EVIL’s arm down for a 2 count, EVIL blocks a Penalty Kick, EVIL with a Vertical Suplex for a 2 count, ZSJ blocks Darkness Falls and looked for a Kimura, but EVIL blocked, ZSJ with a Full Nelson, but EVIL breaks it and hits a Knee Lift, ZSJ blocks a Bulldog, he looks for the Abdominal Stretch, but EVIL reverses, ZSJ escapes and hits a Pele Kick to the arm, he charges, but EVIL blasts him with a Lariat, Darkness Falls for a near fall, he looked for the kill, but ZSJ counters, they trade flash pins for 2 counts, EVIL with a Backslide for a 2 count, ZSJ immediately follows with a Penalty Kick, and stomps the elbow, ZSJ traps the arm and wraps his legs around the head and pulls on the other arm, but EVIL makes it to the rope, EVIL pulls the ref in front the hits a Superkick, he uses Red Shoes for an unwanted assist to deliver a Magic Killer, he sets ZSJ up top & hits a Superplex for a near fall, he looks for the kill, Everything is Evil countered, Zack Driver countered, O’Connor Roll countered, European Clutch countered, ZSJ blocks several Lariats with High Kicks, but EVIL with a Rolling Lariat for a near fall, Everything is Evil countered, European Clutch countered, Everything is Evil countered, Manji-Gatame, he grounds EVIL and adds a Calf Slicer to the Manji-Gatame, EVIL’s trapped with nowhere to go & he taps out.

KOTA IBUSHI vs. TETSUYA NAITO:
Naito sends Ibushi into the barricades then into the commentary table, Naito rolls back in, Ibushi back in at 7, Naito works on the neck with the cravat, Neckbreaker for a 2 count, he charges, but Ibushi with a Dropkick, lightning fast strikes, Mid Kick then a Standing Moonsault for a 2 count, Snap Hurricanrana, Naito rolls to the floor, Ibushi was looking for the Golden Triangle, but Naito catches him with an Elevated Neckbreaker on the ring apron, back in the ring with a Single Leg Dropkick, Elevated Hangman Neckbreaker for a near fall, German Suplex, but Kota lands on his feet, Enzugiri then catches Naito with a Snap German Suplex, they trade Forearms then Shoteis, Naito with a Pop-Up Spinebuster, he sets Ibushi on the second, Kota turns it around, he looks for the Swan Dive German Suplex, but Naito blocks and pulls Ibushi over to the apron & hits a Sit-Out Tombstone (shades of Owen Hart) on the ring apron, back in the ring with Gloria for a near fall, Naito goes for the kill, but Ibushi counters Destino into Brain Damage for a near fall, Golden Star Powerbomb countered into a Swinging Tornado DDT, he looks for the kill, but Ibushi with a Rolling Lariat then The Golden Star Powerbomb for a near fall, Naito avoids The Kamigoye & hits a Twisting Destino for a near fall, he goes for the kill, but Ibushi counters Destino with a High Kick, Kota measures for the kill, Boma Ye, but only a near fall, Tiger Golden Star Powerbomb then hits The Kamigoye for the win. Ibushi will face ZSJ in Round 2.
