They trade Forearms, Okada tries to provoke Ishii with disrespectful boot scrapes & he awakens the Stone Pitbull, as Ishii gives it right back to Okada, they go to the floor, Okada charges, but Ishii with a Release Powerslam on the floor, back in the ring, and Ishii looks to re-open Okada’s chest with punishing Chops, Okada tells him to keep it coming as his chest turns purple, Ishii finally drops Okada, Okada blocks a Suplex & hits a DDT, nip up, Charging Forearm, Ishii rolls to the floor, but Okada follows with a Pescado, he sends Ishii back in, Bodyslam, up top, Ishii is back up and absorbs the Forearms, he walks into them and is not phased, Ishii comes back with shots of his own & Okada asks for more, they trade Forearms, Ishii avoids the Dropkick, Okada avoids the Enzugiri, Ishii avoids the Senton, Okada blocks the Sliding Lariat & hit an Air Raid Crash Neckbreaker, Bodyslam, up top, Diving Elbow Drop, Rainmaker Pose, but Ishii back up, Okada with a Big Boot then a Flapjack, up top, Diving Shotgun Dropkick for a near fall, Ishii blocks the Tombstone, Air Raid Crash countered as Ishii plants him with a Powerbomb and stacks him up for a near fall, Release German Suplex, Running Lariat for a near fall, Sliding Lariat countered with a Dropkick, Ishii blocks the Tombstone, Ishii tries one, they counter each other, Okada finally hits it, Rainmaker countered with a Headbutt then a Short-Arm Lariat, he sets Okada up top, Avalanche Brainbuster for a near fall, Sliding Lariat for a near fall, Okada counters the Vertical Sheer-Drop Brainbuster with a knee to the head, Dropkick, Backslide, but holds onto the wrist for a Short-Arm Rainmaker, another, but Ishii absorbs it, barrage of Headbutts, Okada ducks a Lariat and hits a High-Angle German Suplex and holds on, Rainmaker countered into a Juji-Gatame, but Okada makes it to the rope, Ishii goes to work on the arm, he ducks a Rolling Rainmaker and hits a Jumping Gamengiri, he looks for a charge, but Okada with a Dropkick, Ishii is back up, Okada with a Shotgun Dropkick, he charges, but Ishii with a Lariat, but only a 1 count, another Lariat for a near fall, Okada blocks the Brainbuster, Ishii blocks the Rainmaker, Dropkick, Rainmaker ducks, Lariats absorbed, Brainbuster countered into That’s Incredible then finishes Ishii with The Rainmaker for the win. Okada wins the block and advances to the final.

SANADA vs. HIROSHI TANAHASHI:

Tana with a Head Scissors, SANADA escapes, they both try Dropkicks and it’s a stalemate, SANADA tries to tie him into the Paradise Lock, but Tana counters into a Small Package for a 2 count, then goes to work on SANADA’s knee and ankle, Tana cross the legs and works on the knee, but SANADA makes it to the rope, SANADA with a Dropkick, sending Tana to the floor, SANADA follows with a Slingshot Plancha, then sends Tana back in, Tana with an Elevated Dragon Screw, Body Slam, up to the 2nd with a Somersault Senton for a 2 count, SANADA ducks the Slingblade and hits a Dropkick to the knee, Tana with a Dragon Screw then SANADA with one of his own on Tana, Springboard Dropkick, but Tana sidesteps and hits an Inverted Dragon Screw, he goes for the Cloverleaf, but SANADA makes it to the rope, Slingblade countered SANADA tries a Dropkick, but Tana grabs the legs and converts right into the Cloverleaf and he’s got it locked in deep, but SANADA makes it to the rope, Tana blocks a kick then hits a Dropkick to the other knee, they trade European Uppercuts, Tana blocks a Rolling Elbow, SANADA blocks the Dragon Suplex, he flips over Tana and locks in Skull End, but Tana counters into Twist & Shout and a second, he looks for a trifecta, but SANADA counters into a Whiplash, Bridging Tiger Suplex for a near fall, Skull End and the hooks are in, he feels he’s out, up top, Mutoh Moonsault to the back another to the front, but Tana gets the knees up and into a Small Package for a near fall, Moonsault off the second into Skull End, but Tana counters into a Small Package for a near fall, he looks for Slingblade, SANADA counters, TKO countered, Tana with Skull End, but SANADA reverses it, Tana with a Victory Roll for a near fall, SANADA with a flash pin for a near fall, SANADA blocks the Dragon Suplex, he turns it around, Asai DDT flip into Skull End, Giant Swing, but Tana counters into a Standing Slingblade and another Slingblade for a near fall, Dragon Suplex, but SANADA lands on his feet, O’Connor Roll, but Tana blocks the pin, Prawn Hold, but SANADA counters into Skull End and the hooks are in and Tana taps out. SANADA has won the block and will face Okada in the final.

Winner: SANADA

When the tournament began there were 32 men we are down to the final 2 as the winners of the blocks will meet to see who goes to Madison Square Garden to challenge IWGP Heavyweight Champion, “Switchblade” Jay White.
